Is There a Long History of Sexisms in the Afen?
There is a long history of favoring men over women that canada has imposed. And we should not be surprised when it appears on the grounds or on the floor of the a f n. 80 to 90 % of chiefs and communities are male. That is because of canada's historical policies, which have favored males and taken away the rights of females. Even a residential school, where genders were separated and males were favored over females. The violence that took place in communities involving a status that if a woman married a non indigenous man, she would lose her rights. Absolutely.
