The US and the Holocaust was just horrifyingly relevant all year long. It is a show about a lapse about a lapse in American exceptionalism that led to the death of 10 million people in Europe. We basically sat back and decided that anti-Semitism was a virtue that was greater than actually playing global hero until we eventually did, by which point things were largely too late.
