How Fast Will Inflation Come Down?

Global inflation peaked to around 10% in the third quarter of 2022, and by the end of 2023, we think it will have come down to around 5%. That global average is being skewed up by countries like Turkey and Argentina, which don't account for a big share of the global economy. If you take those out of the picture and focused on the big advanced economies, the United States, the euro area, you've got inflation which peaked at a slightly lower level in 2022.
