The Stanford Open Vaccine Competition

The Stanford Open Vaccine Competition was held on Kaggle. The goal of the competition was to find a vaccine for COVID, which is an orphaned disease that has no known cure or effective treatment. In order to do this, machine learning models had to be built and tested against data from other crowdsourcing platforms. These were never actually used for vaccines, but the data was actually a whole bit of time that that's what we could do.
