I work with an organization called The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies. We are trying to address the ways that disabled people are left behind in an emergency situation. And we're often treated as kind of expected and acceptable losses, he says. So thus far, we have aided over 5,000 people with disabilities and their loved ones.
