The Freedom Caucus Opposition to Kevin McCarthy
Congressman Mulvaney was one of the founding members of the Freedom Caucus. He says there is such an ingrained opposition among those who voted against McCarthy that it's really hard to see after he's given them virtually everything that they asked for, that they're going to turn around overnight. Niamalika Henderson: If tomorrow you start to see some of these moderates peel away and say, 'It doesn't look like you've got a path because these 20 or so folks really seem to be dug in' David Axelrod: I think he wouldn't have any choice but to pull out at that point because there is just no path.
