Low Block Poles Are a Better Exercise for Your Hamstrings

A lot of people can lift from the floor just fine, but i think there's a non negligible amount of people for whom a low block pull is just a better exercise. I'm kind of a fan of like a weak push press, where you're not getting everything possible out of leg drive, but you're getting a little leg drive each rep to get you through that big dead zone and then mustling it up the rest of the way. Pull ups are obviously fantastic for most folks,. I think ring pull ups are neutral. Grip pull ups tend to be a little bit better than either pronated or supenated.
