Jeremy Stoner's Kidnapping and Murder

Sean Quincy Milton was charged with the kidnapping and murder of six-year-old Jeremy Stoner in 1987. He claimed he had nothing to do with his own death, but police kept a close watch on him until they decided not to press charges. A second suspect came to light almost a month later when Eric Coise's body was found strangled near where Jeremy died. After an extensive investigation, there was no evidence to link Milton to either case. Both trials ended in a mistrial due to deadlocked juries. To this day, there is no evidence to suggest he was involved.
