Is the Cloud Really More Efficient for Customers?

At scale, yes, it can be. If you're kind of a really small shop that only has like 10 compute nodes, it's probably going to be more expensive to move to the cloud. But at the kind of scale that we're talking about here, with using things like spot and preemptible nodes, making use of the unique characteristics of the cloud, they actually could kind of save on their cap X. They were able to do that with Google Cloud. Exactly. So there was quite a lot of interesting discussions we had that didn't make it to the podcast but yeah, it's a pretty interesting problem to solve when you are not in your own data center.
