The Problem With Inequality Metrics

As people's incomes rise across the board, as everybody's incomes rise, you necessarily are going to get an increase in inequality. But how is that not great news? One other thing I want to point to here with personal income, the real median personal income, real means adjusted for inflation. His income is up 45% that's real. So it's 45% more than inflation since the 1970s. And actually up 10% more thanflation over the past two decades. All of your numbers are going up.
