There's an estimated 51% of the world's population that has some kind of access to the internet, roughly 3.89 billion human beings. In only 17 years since the year 2000, we've increased this by so much. The United Nations is actively pursuing it to be listed as a human right along with clean water and shelter and food and safety from harm.
