The Indians didn't really have the strategic like they didn't have a whole culture of military leadership who were like studying Julius Caesar and things like that so they would just perpetrate raids on villages. They weren't always victorious though there's some stories of Texans chasing them like a thousand miles. The Comanche started to figure out that Texas was really being settled and the Texas Rangers and the Texas settlers were a serious threat, he says.
