i've heard so many sermons over my life about why god ordained that when jesus came to earth, he had to be born of a virgin. God could have chosen to bring jesus into the world in infinite ways. He could have grown on the branch of a tree or crash landed in a meteor like a pre spaceage superman. So we could argue that the experience of growing up as a human was part of jesus identity as fully human, fully god,. being found in like manner as a man, et cetera.
