Fairy Tales of Ireland

Oscar Wilde's mother put together some excellent collections of Celtic folk tales, and I relied a lot on those. On October 31st during Sowin, the Celts would gather around the fire and tell scary stories about these fairies. Flipping through the book, you encounter tales like the Holy Well and the Murderer - all possible titles for a John Grisham novel. There are hints throughout that these fairies are somewhat of a reflection of the Irish people themselves.
