The Importance of Encoding Memory

I remember saying things like I was just big boned. Right? And now that I lost weight, my bones have shrunk to normal skeletal size. It brings me to a good point. Our memories are things we haven't coded. So if we haven't encoded the memory, then it's not there. If you don't pay attention and you don't encode that memory, when you recall I was in this really healthy group, it's not a false memory. Like it's one that you have literally created because the memory wasn't encoded. You've now just made one. You haven't altered one. We're basing it on science here. Absolutely.
