i've been wanting this kind of book for a long time that brings stories from multiple sources together into one wonderful narrative. Your source material is everything from norse sogas to mediaeval kind of and travelogues and mythography. So how did you get into these kind of narratives? I think there's probably three different parts of my career that introduce me to these different sources. The way it will start is at im when nis 18 years old, going off to cambridge to study anglo saxon, norse and celtic,. which is a bit like classics for northwestern europe.
