The Role of Pharmacotherapy in Addiction
I think sometimes we've been a little bit paternalistic in thinking, ah, these are not scientific approaches, whatever. The reality is that when a treatment option resonates with people, I think they deserve respect and they deserve a careful study. It's important to remove all the potential, yield and stigma that can carry the fact that it cannot be useful for some people. To talk again about cognition, how about pharmacotherapy for specifically for the cognitive dysfunction in people with addiction? Is there a good evidence and clinical indication for colonist race inhibitors or psychostimulants or other medications?
