Introduction

Sunay Lehman is a professor of Networks and Complexity Science at the Technical University of Denmark. His work focuses primarily on quantitative understanding of social systems based on massive data sets. Sunay has served as a member of the task force established by the Danish government to model the spread in Denmark. We discuss his research on diminishing collective attention spans and our exceedingly worrying relationship with technology.
