What's the Difference Between Good and Bad?
Google used to be able to get away with some hacky stuff because of the low expectations for mobile networks. Some developers would build systems that expected good networks, and it wouldn't degrade terribly well. But we learned that pretty quickly. When you think about people excessing google from countries that don't have the inferstructure that the americas do, a lot of that is sort of biltin the way that these teams build out these services.
