I loved Lieutenant O'Hara. I still wear my hoop earrings because of her. There's an amazing bit at the end when they think Spock is dead. And there's something about these old people who never thought they'd have to be called out of retirement to save the universe. But there's a kind of optimism in having done your GT again. Do you love that film? It is a good film. You've met Loon Sharnikle twice. Or rather I saw a piece you wrote when she died earlier this year. She was beautiful and intelligent and warm.
