Language Learning Is a Black Box, Right?

How does language learning compare to all of the skill building that you've done in, say, your university programs? You learn things incrementally and it's an unconscious process. It just kind of hits a little different because it's not a language that you're trying to understand. Refold is changing that a lot, but classrooms are definitely more regimented.
