i have mixed feelings about gadflies. They often rightly, though not necessarily, adaptively, point out that the things that we think are consensus are not concensus. And it's kind of like, it can be an acid bath on everything, you know, and it just tears things away. There's a certain ardic, there's a certain story one could tell about sort of post modern m being maybe the most accurate view, but not necessarily the view that we want most people to have.
