The Role of the Poet in Christian Life
The poet's job is to lead us through this journey, right? It's a little Dante-esque even in that way. There's a line that follows where he says the flowers or the roses had the look of flowers that are looked at. He's channeling Aquinas there, right? That an animal has a greater sense of purpose for having been seen by a human being than had enough been seen. So we'll allow him a bit of a domestic moment there.
