Is It True That God Permits Evil in the World?
St. Leo the Great says, Christ's inexpressible grace gave us blessings better than those the demons envy had taken away. St. Thomas Aquinas also said, there's nothing to prevent human nature as being raised up to something greater, even after sin. The God permits evil in order to draw forth some greater good. Father Micah: It may be today is a day where you've lost loved ones or maybe a season where you're losing them right now. But he did not abandon you to the domain of death. He's coming in mercy to your aid and my aid as well.
