The Undermining of the Separate Self's Search for Freedom

The question about how to obtain freedom is always from the point of view of the one that seems not to be free. And I think rather than that one cannot find freedom because its very apparent presence is the veiling of the freedom it seeks. So all it can do is investigate itself. That's one thing that it can do and that doesn't take it into enlightenment happiness. It's a subtle and naturally not so subtle way of perpetuating itself.
