Is the Gas Tax Holiday a Good Idea?

The bind administration has unveiled plans to pursue a gas tax holiday. Will the problem actually too global in nature for this type of domestic fix? The last new refinery built in the united states was opened in 19 77. Lifting of the gas tax would be some relief, but not a lot sor t of on the order of usage from the strege petroleum reserve.
