The Hatfields and McCoy's family feud is one of the most famous in American history. The Tug River Valley was originally inhabited by Native American tribes but they were pushed out by Anglo settlers. Two generations later their descendants engaged in a fight that spanned decades and earned them everlasting info. Like all good legends it's full of fact, fiction, rumor, speculation and innuendo. We'll tell the true story to the best of our abilities.
