The Transcendental Is God

The ultimate word in our language for that which is transcendent is God. By the time I became aware of that my notion of divinity was not quite so personal. The idea of God that he's a bearded old man of some kind was a certain not very pleasant temperament. Everything in the field of time is dual, past and future, dead and alive. All this being and non-being is isn't. What can't be known? What can'tbe known? Or named? Yes. Except in our own feeble attempt to clothe it in language.
