I carried that, you know, fear, an internal homophobia within me. And it didn't happen legitimately until i moved to san francisco and was sitting on a curb with my best friend, a dean, at that moment antime. He said, kathy, there's something i have to tell you im. I'm gay. And i was like, oh, well, i am too, you know. Then there was no hesitation after speaking it.
