I think that when we say it's kind of absurd, yes, that I existed in the Jurassic period or something, what I'm being careful to say here is that everything that I made existed at that time. This is where we have to be careful about language to make sure the point gets across. If x exists at t and t is the first time at which x exists, it's irrelevant whether or not x is a fundamental thing that is not an arrangement of prior materials or whether it is.
