Condoleezza Rice is the former Secretary of State for President George W. Bush. She worked closely with CIA Director Bill Burns when he was US Ambassador to Moscow and later as under-secretary for policy at the State Department. On Ukraine, she says: "I think in general, in total, the policies in the right direction" The U.S. should be sending more air defense systems but also armed armor because it takes a long time to supply that kind of equipment, she adds.
