There's a paper that looks at, can you find high accuracy networks that are just frozen into their random initializations by finding a good pruning mask? And i think this is an interesting set of problems. It's definitely not the original lottery ticket setting as we invisioned it. A lot of the models that folks look at in these papers are kind of a different nature. They're infinitely wide, or their single layer with the second layer frozen and all sorts of other fancy huristics thrown in to make them work properly. So basically you'll have every single combinatorical combination of whatever you can ink of as a sub network somewhere in there. And it it becomes rather unsurprising
