The Earned Income Tax Credit Should Be Expanded, the Federal Minimum Wage Should Be Raised
If we structure financial support for the poor as a hand out, which i think many of these government programmes are seen, we know that both the people who receive the hand outs don't like it. Most people want to live a dignified life and have an opportunity to do something that contributes and make a good living in the process. If i agree completely that the earned income tax credit should be expanded, i think we should raise the federal minimum wage. I mean, there's a combination of things that i think could really make a difference.
