The Story of the Exodus

Brent: God started with a preface. He wanted to tell us that the story was good and invite us to trust the story. Brent: In Genesis 12 through 50, we meet the family of God. We see a group of people that are far from perfect. They make a ton of mistakes but they do lean back in to trusting the story. It really sets the stage for the larger narrative, this tale of two kingdoms, empire and shalom.
