The 50 micrograms given twice in the six to 11 year olds was based upon iminogenousity data. The rate of serious illness is too low in this age group to measure it in study. It's important to remember that this work was done during the time that dealt the dominant strain circulating, it's likely that it will be less impressive during omacron.
