I wasn't up to date at all with standardization prior to starting surfing. I would rarely go to the standard to look stuff up because I wasn't like writing that kind of code. And I certainly wasn't reading the monthly mailings until Sarah was kind of like, well, okay, whatever. That's my point. You know, I just want to write a better compiler, a better language. The committee has to figure out how to stay relevant.
