Is There a Limit to the Art of Writing?

Recently, I've been leaning into settings and places that I have some level of familiarity with it. Not a lot. But countries I've been to home cities, deep sites and places I've seen movies and things I can visualize. It reduces the amount of work I have to do for myself as far as research is concerned. Though inevitably, I will likely write something right in an area where I'll have to do research like, okay, what would be the climate? What would be the building? Like, what type of architecture would be appropriate, etc.
