The Importance of Allowing Black Boys to Express All in Their Parts
My father was incarcerated my whole entire life. Most of the percentage wise black men make up a lot of the criminal justice system. And I think what we can do is allow black boys to be seen they're not seen. They go to school and they feel like it's all about either trying to be like the girls or being like the white folks you don't get to be yourself. So the best thing I can do as his mother is to allow him to fully express all in his parts while he's still young.
