I always had the feeling that with certain forms of music, in particular opera, there was a literal resonance created between the singer and the listener. In theory, that could be the vibration of the firing of the phrenic nerve controlling the diaphragm for all I know. And so that's why I say possibly it. It needs more rigorous study. This is some stuff they publish, but it's not prime time yet. But they're trying to figure this out.
