Mediaeval Studies - Isn't That Right?

Mediaeval studies was painted as white supremacy, almost by def nition. The curriculum was to dead, white, male, ourocentric, but actually the current practice of the discipline was oriented toward white supremacy. And one could see this in the way that actual white supremacists or white nationalists were adopting mediaeval imagery and mediaeval clothing. Mediaeval european studies had always been fascinated by the degree to which europe as was in contact with regions outside of Europe.
