In genesis one, people are given the gift of potentially having ongoing perpetual life. The book of isaiah represents a sustained meditation on the meaning of trees. In Genesis two, were told in verse seven, that away god formed human of dust from the ground. So he makes a human from the humus, adam from the adama, waiter, adam minadama. Take the next step, trees in the garden of eden. Story, the origin of humans, is designed parallel to the origin of trees. It's worth pondering and thinking about.
