Some patients can get better without intubation and without drainage, which i found to be surprising. It's largely impossible to generate high quality evidence on this topic because it would essentially require basically making decision we're not going to intimate anyone,. And there's a lot of circular literature out there where people with some hospitals say, we're going to intimate people... that doesn't help you. But understanding indications for intibation here is very eminence and not evidenc sbase, but there is some evidence around it.
