Introduction

It's been 10 years since the beloved animator put out a new film, and he's retired on multiple occasions. This movie ran especially under the radar because there was no pre-release promotion. The film is titled Kimitachiwa Doi Kiruka in Japanese, which translates to how do you live? But the official English title is The Boy and the Heron. Its first screening outside of Japan will be at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7th.
