Is the Bank of England Going to Buy Bonds?

The Bank of England has been buying bonds at close to the market price. But it's not actually bought as many bonds as people thought it was going to buy. The pension funds then have to start selling their bonds, which causes the prices to fall even more. That means that the yields go up even further. So you were getting a negative feedback loop. And the problem was that the pension funds were caught in this vicious circle.
