The Importance of Empathy in a Work Environment

We all need empathy, and unfortunately not all of us are capable of it. But those of us who are, some of us go too far. When we over-emphasize, we get in the way of doing the right thing. If you're going through a situation where you're dealing with somebody who's very tricky at work, remember your work is not the entire source of your self-esteem.
