The Difference Between Visual Illusion and Intuition
There's a key difference between a visual illusion and my intuition that I deserve blame and punishment in that case the visual illusion you can independently measure. The ruler is your consistency across these cases right? You have to be able to give reasons for distinguishing down or stopping the slide from a condition of clear moral responsibility as you find in the drunk driving case down to a clear case of of no responsibility.
