People in t he amazon domesticated crops 11 thousand years ago, but they didn't take crop domestication to agricultural fields and monocultures the way everywhere else. They continued to hunt and fish. And they discovered ways of domesticating the forests without having to cut it all down. There's a whole system of what's called agra forestry. Agra forestry means you you use the forest like a garden. You don't cut it down. This is what we need to learn from these people for planting soi beans or bringing cattle with gold mines. We need to learn how It can be done by botanist, glen noethnoist, shepherd.
