Is There a Catastrophic Inflation?

Every time you go to gas station they give you a dollar or a pound right the government subsidizes this transaction by pound. Now imagine the opposite they give half a pound for their customer for the buyer then their price goes up by half a pound all sides against the profit both sides make the same. Does that make sense? Or am I talking too fast? No it's not too fast I guess what it seems to me that if you have a creative illusion of deflation or inflation whether you stimulate demand or supply but it's really the same thingRight nothing really changes everybody is in the same place in terms of their financial outcome and that's why I was a little debt, part of the reason
