What Is Eucharistic Sacrifice?

In the mediaeval period there is an idea of eucharistic sacrifice that's very popular, in which christ is essentially re sacrificed on the altar. And i could spend some time delving into this, the mediaeval theology of this, including in figures like aquinas. I love aquinas many ways, but think aquinas is is mistakenon a number of issues. Ad this would certainly be one of them.
