The Diversity of the Crowd
I saw the Walkman in New York last week at Webster Hall and then I saw Carolyn Polichak. And the crowds couldn't have been more different. My friend Stevie, who was there was like, I've never felt more straight in my life and he's a gay man. That's how extreme the crowd was. Like you could not pinpoint who the people were. They were closeted 54 year old guys from all corners of the world. It was just the crowds are almost more entertaining than the shows these days as an anthropological study is what I'm starting to feel.
